The ECO Secretary General H.E. Mr. Yahya Maroofi has attended the 11th Meeting of the Board of Governors of the ECO Trade and Development Bank held on July 13, 2012 in Istanbul,
In his statement delivered during the Meeting, the ECO Secretary General pointed out that the existing cooperation with the Bank especially on trade financing, regional programmes and projects for trade facilitation should be promoted further. He also briefed the Meeting on the recent developments regarding ECO cooperation in various sectors i.e. trade, transport, energy, agriculture, health, human resources as well as international relations.
On the other hand, the Board of Governors while thanking for the information on the recent developments in ECO cooperation, expressed their gratitude and appreciation to the Secretary General H.E. Mr. Maroofi for the full support he extended to the Bank during his tenure and wished him prosperity and success in his future life.
