ECO Secretary General attended the Third International Investment Forum of Turkmenistan held on 3-5 November 2011 in Ashgabat.
The international partnership in investment activities was the key subject of the forum. The Forum also focused on the technological modernization of branches of industry and strengthening of country investment potential.
The representatives of the international business circles, financial structures, scientists, public organizations, and mass media met at the Forum. They discussed the major issues of diversification of economy of Turkmenistan and cooperation opportunities in new directions such as the implementation of innovative technologies into different braches of economy.
ECO Secretary General delivered his statement during the forum. In his statement he highlighted the policies and activities of ECO towards the promotion of investments in ECO member states and the vital functions of Turkmenistan in these activities.
