The Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Islamic Republic of Iran H.E. Dr. Ilhom Akramov called on the Secretary General, H.E. Mr. Mohammed Yahya Maroofi on February 3, 2010. H.E. Dr. Ilhom Akramov congratulated H.E. Mr. Mohammed Yahya Maroofi as the new Secretary General of ECO and wished health and prosperity during his tenure.
The Secretary General discussed the maters of common interest including payment to the regular contribution of Member States and underscored the importance of regional approach in order to solve common problems.
