The Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan to the Islamic Republic of Iran, H.E. Dr. Obaidullah Obaid presented his credentials to the ECO Secretary General, H.E. Mr. Mohammed Yahya Maroofi at the ECO Headquarters on January 3, 2011.
The Secretary General congratulated the Ambassador on his new assignment in Tehran and briefed the Ambassador on the important dossiers of ECO.
The Deputy Secretary Generals for Trade & Investment and Transport & Communications also briefed the Ambassador about the activities of ECO. The Ambassador assured his full support for the organization.
