Upon the approval of establishment of the ECO Veterinary Commission (ECO-VECO) as a specialized agency of ECO in Tehran during the Nineteenth Meeting of the ECO Council of Ministers (COM), H.E. Dr. Seyed Mohsen Dastoor, the Head of Iranian Veterinary Organization (IVO) and Deputy Minister of Jihad-e- Agriculture of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Dr. Ebrahim Molayemi, Director International Affairs of Iran Veterinary organization met with Mr. Fatih Unlu, DSG (AIT and TI) and officials of the Directorate of Agriculture, Industry and Tourism to discuss issues relating to the establishment of the ECO Permanent Veterinary Commission (ECO-VECO).
The delegation also called on H.E Mr. M. Yahya Maroofi, the Secretary General of ECO. Secretary General assured full support of the Secretariat for achieving the targets regarding the activities of the ECO Veterinary Commission (ECO-VECO). H.E. Dr. Seyed Mohsen Dastoor announced that the Iranian delegation will arrange a meeting between the Honourable Minister of Jihad-e Agriculture of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Secretary General of ECO.
