The 2nd Meeting of the ECO Heads of Veterinary Organizations was held on April 20-21, 2009 in Antalya. The Meeting was organized by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of the Republic of Turkey The delegations from Azerbaijan, Iran, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Turkey and Uzbekistan as well as representatives of the ECO Secretariat, FAO and OIE participated in the meeting.
Following the inauguration and country presentations, the meeting finalized the Draft Statute of ECO Veterinary Commission (ECO-VECO) and decided to submit it to ECO Council of Permanent Representatives for approval.
