he Working Group Meeting to prepare the Drat Statute of the ECO Regional Center for Risk Management of Natural Disasters was held on December 22-23, 2008 in Tehran. The Meeting was hosted by ECO Secretariat and Iranian Meteorological Organization (IRIMO). The delegations from Azerbaijan, Iran, Pakistan, FAO, UNDP and ECO Secretariat attended the meeting.
The Drat Statute of the ECO Regional Center for Risk Management of Natural Disasters was prepared by the meeting to be considered by the 2nd ECO Heads of Meteorological Organizations Meeting to be held in 2009.
