ECO Working Group Meeting on Finalizing the Draft Statute of the ECO-PCPCAD (April 3-4, 2007, Tehran)

The 3rd Ministerial Meeting on Agriculture held on 7th March 2007 in Tehran while approving the idea of establishing   of ECO Permanent Commission for Prevention and Control of Animal Diseases and Animal Origin and Control of    Animal Diseases and Animal Origin Food Borne Diseases (ECO-PCPCAD)   decided to setup a Working Group consisting Iran, Pakistan, Turkey, ECO Secretariat, FAO and OIE to finalize the draft statute of ECO-PCPCAD.

The meeting considered the draft statute and prepared the final draft as ECO Veterinary Commission (ECO_VECO), which has been circulated to member states soon after the meeting for consideration.

The final draft will be submitted to the 17th Council of Ministers Meeting for approval.
