New Ambassador of Kyrgyz Republic Presented his Credentials to ECO Secretary General

          H.E. Mr. Avazbek Atahanov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Islamic Republic of Iran  called on H.E. Mr. Askhat Orazbay, Secretary General ECO on 9^th March, 2006 at the Secretariat and presented his Credentials accrediting him as the Permanent Representative of his country to the Secretariat of Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO).

          H.E. Mr. Askhat Orazbay has extended his congratulations to H.E. Mr. Avazbek Athanov on the occasion of his appointment to Tehran as new Ambassador of Kyrgyz Republic.

          During the ceremony arranged for the purpose, the range of the existing and urgent issues related to ECO, including preparation of 16^th Council of Ministers Meeting and 9^th Summit Meetings to be held in Baku, Azerbaijan, have been discussed.
