H. E. Seyed Mojtaba Arastou, ECO Secretary General, held talks on an informal reception with the representatives of Foreign and Iranian News Agencies, News papers, and the Media, held at the ECO Secretariat, on 2^nd November 2002.

            In the said meeting Mr. Arastou in a round table talk conferred with the journalists on the ways and means of expanding cooperation between Secretariat and the Media in order to further more introduction of the Organization to the public as well as international community.

            ECO Secretary General in his talks referred to the achievements of the Organization which unfortunately have not received that much of attention on the side of the media and requested the journalists to reflect the efforts being made in the Organization, so ECO would enjoy more introduction and popularity among the public of the ECO region.
