ECO Secretary General, staff meeting

            H. E. Ambassador Seyed Mojtaba Arastou, ECO Secretary General, returning back from the 12^th Council of Ministers Meeting (COM) and the 7^th ECO Summit Meeting, held in Istanbul, made a briefing about those meetings in an Staff Meeting at the ECO Secretariat. He emphasized the great teamwork done by the ECO Staff, participating the Meetings and the support of the ECO Staff back at the Secretariat in Tehran during those important events, and added that all the ECO Member States have already expressed their full satisfaction and gratitude for these efforts done by the Secretariat Staff.

            ECO Secretary General, referring to the successful holding of Summit and COM Meetings in Istanbul, asked the serious efforts of the Secretariat Staff in order to implement and follow up the approved agenda items of these main policy making bodies of ECO. He also called his Staff to device mechanisms to realize the aims and goals set by COM and Summit.

           Ambassador Arastou as well referred to the great importance of the forthcoming ECO Ministerial Meetings on Environment and Energy, both due to be held in Tehran and asked for serious efforts by the staff of the ECO Secretariat in order to hold the said meetings in the most proper way.
