The Indian Ambassador’s call on ECO Secretary General

            H. E. Mr. Pripuran Singh Haer, Ambassador of India in Tehran called on H. E. Dr. Abdulrahim Gavahi, ECO Secretary General on April 29, 2002, at ECO headquarters.

            In this meeting, ECO Secretary General briefed the Indian Ambassador about the background and ongoing activities of ECO, as well as recent achievments in the area of transportation.

            In return, the Indian Ambassador, showing interest in ECO activities and achievments, wished for further success of the Organization and envisaged future cooperation between his country and this important regional institution.
