I am pleased to note that during historically short period of time the Organization gained recognition in the international arena and transformed into a real mechanism for regional economic integration.

I am confident tat under your leadership the Secretariat will continue its efforts to achieve stable economic development of the ECO region as a fundamental objective of the Organization.

Uzbekistan consistently stands for further expansion of mutually beneficial cooperation with all ECO member- countries especially in such spheres as transport communication, trade and investment.
