On behalf of the people of Pakistan and on my own behalf, it gives me immense pleasure to extend warm felicitations to the ECO community of nations on the occasion of the sixteenth anniversary of ECO’s expansion.

The ECO region has immense potential that can best be realized if we work collectively to promote peace and stability, craft common approaches to development issues and enhance connectivity.

It is gratifying to note that the Economic Cooperation Organization is most suitably positioned to achieve these objectives. It has evolved over the years into an effective tool for capitalizing opportunities and addressing common challenges.

I wish the Organization complete success in achieving the lofty goals it has set for itself.
