I am pleased to note that after a historically short period of time, the Organization have received an international recognition and have been transformed into the real mechanism of the regional economic integration.

I am confident that its under Your esteemed guidance, the Secretariat will continue its efforts, aimed at ensuring firm economic development of the ECO region which is fundamental task of our Organization.

Uzbekistan consistently stands for further extension of the mutually beneficial cooperation with all ECO member-countries, particularly in the areas of transport, communications, trade and investments.
