I have great pleasure to convey my warmest felicitations to you and your honoured colleagues on the occasion of the ECO Day, the 28^th of November. This auspicious day marks the expansion and deepening of relations among the ECO member states. A number of useful meetings, held over the years, have brought member countries closer to each other in important areas of cooperation. The common positions they have taken have paved the way for achieving the objectives of the organization.

I believe that the active cooperation of member states in evolving work programmes and their joint participation in implementing these programmes would best serve their interests and make the organization more effective.

The current expansion of ECO’s trans-regional relations indicates that under your able leadership, ECO will strengthen and consolidate its position among regional and international organizations.
