Esteemed Secretary General,

          I have a great pleasure to congratulate you and all the ECO Member States on the occasion of the ECO Day.

          In light of current globalization and growing interdependency and correlation of economic development, ECO provides huge opportunities for the region's sustainable development and further integration of national economies into the World economic system.

          Having common historic and cultural background, the ECO region today is one of the most important economic and trade areas of the World, situated in the very heart of Eurasian continent with immense natural, economic and human resources.

          In this regard, I would like to express my sincere hope that "ECO Vision -2015" document would be another contribution for further implementation of ECO potential for the benefit of regional cooperation and prosperity of our nations.

          Taking this opportunity, I wish you and the ECO Secretariat, as well as all ECO Member States, every success in realizing high goals of our Organization.
