          Please allow me sincerely congratulate you on the behalf of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and on my own behalf with memorable and happy event - ECO Day.

 
          In Tajikistan, we have a strong belief that cooperation within the ECO opens huge opportunities for development and integration of our national economies into the global economy. It is doubly significant for the Central Asian landlocked countries since it opens accession opportunities for the Southern Seas and enhances export-import potential of regional countries.

 
          Emphasizing due importance to cooperation within the ECO, Tajikistan has the intention to henceforth support the ECO activities aimed at enhancement of regional cooperation and provision of sustainable development of the region.

 
          It is my strong conviction that under your vigilant guidance we will be able to improve the ECO activities up to new qualitative level, which will represent our countries' potential and meet needs and expectations of our people.
