Excellency,

            It is a great pleasure for me to congratulate you on the 12^th Anniversary of the Economic Cooperation Organization.

            The ECO region has indeed an inexhaustible potential for the social and economic development of our countries, and our Organization has to use the existing opportunities in order to further strengthen and expand regional economic integration relations for the benefit and prosperity of our member countries and people.

            Kyrgyzstan strongly believes that the harmonization of regional and national interests is essential. During the recent ECO Summit in Dushanbe Kyrgyzstan reiterated its commitment to enhancing and optimizing the cooperation and regional integration within the framework of the Economic Cooperation Organization.

            I an confident that regular meetings of the ECO Heads of State and Government as well as Council of Foreign Ministers will harmonically contribute to increasing the existing level of interaction and partnership and promote the idea of creation of a common economic area in the ECO region.

            I avail myself of this opportunity to wish you great success and achievements in your important assignment aimed first of all at mobilizing the Member States’ efforts for the realization of the ECO basic goals and objectives.
