          It is pleasure to extend to Your Excellency my cordial felicitations and best vishes on the auspicious occasion of the Day of  the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO).

          Under conditions of the world globalization regional integration stimulates development of national economies and facilitates integration of the developing countries to the world economy. On the threshold of its decade, ECO has made considerable achievements, however, there is still need to fulfill all ECO Summits and Council of Ministers meetings decisions to expedite ratification of ECO crucial agreements and to timely implement mutually beneficial regional projects. I am pleased to note that since the last 8^th Summit in Dushanbe positive steps have been taken towards activation of ECO activities and international organizations.

          Active participation on the Organization and close cooperation with friendly ECO countries is one of the priorities of the foreign policy of the Kyrgyz Republic. Kyrgyzstan will further support the activity of Organization aimed at uplift of well-being of the peoples of our countries and prosperity of our region.

          Availing myself of this opportunity, I would like to express my gratitude for Your untiring efforts and contribution to the development and strengthening of ECO and to wish every success in Your activity.
