Excellency,

            I have the honour to convey my sincere congratulation on the occasion of November 28^th, the EDO Day.

            On behalf of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, I would like to express my heartfelt congratulations, on the eve of this important day and am confident that under your leadership, Economic Cooperation Organization will take positive steps towards achievement of ECO goals and objectives and will further economic growth and prosperity in the region.

            It is no doubt that ECO member states with their vast natural and human resources have the potential to overcome the current global and regional challenges, with close and active collaboration among themselves.

            Taking this opportunity I would like to reiterate full commitments of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan to support the goals and objectives of ECO as set forth in the Treaty of Izmir.
